The plates for strake A are 4 SubSurfs (green, the first one shown highlighted) between pairs of SubSnakes (yellow) on 'sheer' and 'lonseam1'. The endpoints of the SubSnakes are AbsRings (magenta), and the predefined rings at the ends of the longitudinal snakes. We used Tools/ Distance to check the arc-length distance between pairs of AbsRings.
